The cup
The same test order every visit: a black coffee, a cortado, and matcha when it’s on the menu. Clean, sweet, well-textured, served at a drinkable temperature. It counts double.
Craft
What you can see from the counter: a named roaster, fresh roast dates, beans ground per order, shots pulled fresh, a clean steam wand, and a barista who knows the beans.
Hospitality
A prompt welcome, the right order, an honest recommendation when you ask, and a clean, calm space.
Consistency
No cups from a single visit. Three Cups takes repeat visits and a second inspector’s sign-off.
